I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor II with extensive experience supporting adolescents in addressing behavioral challenges, substance use, and emotional regulation. My work emphasizes skill-building for long-term success and also includes working with adults facing substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions, as well as navigating complex family dynamics. My clinical background also includes addressing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral challenges across all age groups.
I take an evidence-based, trauma-informed approach, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, Motivational Interviewing, family-based interventions, and systems theory. I also utilize approaches such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, play therapy, contingency management, Seeking Safety, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy a part of my clinical practice.
I am committed to creating a safe, collaborative space where clients can develop resilience, increase self-awareness, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
