I think one of the bravest things you can do is speak out loud, the things that scare and confuse you. Navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma can be challenging when dealt with alone.
I strive to meet people where they are and empower individuals to make small, sustainable changes within their lives. I have experience with mental health, substance use, loss and grief, and relationship conflics. Some modalities that are used are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and a strengths-based approach.
In a therapeutic relationship I value down -to-earth communication, humor when appropriate, and authenticity.
