A vital component of therapy is finding a therapist you ‘click’ with. This feeling is nearly indescribable, but you know when it’s happening. Creating a connection through genuine authenticity, empathy, and compassion – in a judgement free environment, are keys to this process. At the same time, it’s just as important to teach concrete skills for you to utilize outside of the therapy office. An ongoing exploration of your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors is another part of the puzzle. Through my experience I have been fortunate enough to help others from varying backgrounds, age ranges, and with a variety of presenting problems. My primary treatment modalities are based in cbt, rebt, dbt, person centered and existential therapy. Some of the areas I work with include depression, anxiety, social anxiety, bipolar, bpd, ocd, bdd, adhd, stress, grief, anger, difficulty with social skills/relationships, family/work stressors and general life transitions. I work with all ages and tailor the treatment to what can help the individual most. Wherever you may be in this journey of life, I’ll support you the best I can!
