Stacy Pellettieri

Co-Founder, LCSW-R

With over 30 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, I founded Long Island Counseling to serve as a compassionate and inclusive space for individuals and families across the lifespan—from young children to the elderly. I specialize in supporting clients through a wide range of challenges, including trauma, ADHD, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and OCD. My work is deeply informed by a commitment to neurodiversity, and I am an ADHD Certified Clinician, offering dedicated support to individuals with ADHD, along with their families and communities, to foster resilience and well-being. Throughout my career, I have integrated a range of therapeutic approaches to meet my clients’ unique needs, including psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, trauma-informed care, DBT, CBT, ACT, EFT, and IFS. My approach is person-centered, emphasizing empathy and adaptability to create a therapeutic experience that empowers clients on their personal journeys. At Long Island Counseling, I work with individuals, couples, and families, and am dedicated to supporting my clinical team to provide the highest level of patient care. Through supervision, education, and community outreach, I strive to ensure that our practice meets the evolving needs of our community with compassion, expertise, and dedication.
